A few holidays ago, I was lucky enough to get work experience at Carla Zampatti's head office in Sydney. Although I was only there for a week, it couldn't have had been a better time to go, as it was the week of their SS/15, Fashion Week show.
I went with a close friend and had a great time, and we got a taste of working in the fashion industry. We ran around the city, collecting things for the runway, and setting out the amazing outfits, ready for the show. We briefly me Carla herself, and Bianca Spender, and got to watch them and the whole teamwork, it was truly inspiring.

Despite my horrible decision to wear the worlds worst city navigating shoes on my first day (which has completely traumatized me), I had the most exhilarating time which just deepened my need to work in the industry. I meet some great people and had heaps of fun, and I'm hoping to return again soon.
